Cancellation & Payment

• Payment is due in full to make a reservation or book a service. Payment can be made over the phone, online, via an emailed document, or through a text link. Email us to confirm availability and we will get you booked!
• Once a service is booked, payment is non-refundable but is transferable if the client gives RREC 72 hours’ notice in writing prior to the appointment time. If a client cancels within 72 hours, the service cannot be transferred to another day or time and the client will be charged in full.
• Inclement weather – If there is a 70% chance or better of rain, lightning, thunder, snow, or hail at the time of the appt., then the client or RREC may reschedule. The customer may contact RREC or will be contacted by RREC approximately 2 days prior to the appt. and has the following options:
  • Reschedule to the next best available day.
  • Retain payment as credit towards services (trails, lessons, equine party)
  • If it is confirmed that the client is from out of town, a refund will be issued if RREC cancels the appt.
• If Trail Rides are rescheduled by River Ranch, clients retain credit for paid appointments.

Clients need to check in at the River Ranch Office 15 minutes prior to the Trail Ride start time. Wear completely enclosed shoes, jeans, or pants. Leave purses, bags, and valuables inside of your vehicle. Trail areas are in the floodplain, so weather and ground conditions are a factor.

Location address is 811 Pemberton Hill Rd. Bldg. #2 Dallas, TX 75217. Check into the River Ranch Office at the first building on your right once you enter the Texas Horse Park complex. Park just past the River Ranch Office on the right.

Texas Horse Park (THP) is a privately operated equestrian center. THP is not a public park. All services are by appointment.
