How We Serve

How We Serve and Charity Services We Provide

River Ranch Educational Charities is a private nonprofit and an operator of the Texas Horse Park equestrian center just minutes from downtown Dallas, Texas. RREC or River Ranch was granted 501(c)3 status by the Department of the Treasury on October 17, 2003, by the Internal Revenue department.

River Ranch provides services to at-risk, underserved, and marginalized communities by offering various donation and scholarship packages including basic horsemanship lessons, scout badges, trail ride training, educational field trips and day camps, and also equine party packages depending on the client’s particular situation, ability, and experience. River Ranch’s charitable services are also offered to other non-profit organizations such as churches, schools, and other agencies that are also contributing their efforts to the betterment of those less fortunate.

It is truly amazing what an effect the animals and the outdoors have on the children and the effect the children have on us! River Ranch has had over 250,000 guests at their locations, served over 100,000 children and their families with free community and educational events, provided over 1000 scholarship services and donated over $1M in goods and services to those in need.

River Ranch believes in the healing power of what it offers and would love to have you experience it first-hand. Your donations will help provide more kids and families with the gifts that it has to offer. We hope you’ll join River Ranch on its mission!
